Holly Marie Combs: Scenes From The Unaired Pilot Of “Mistresses”. “Mistresses” was an adaptation of the BBC drama that revolves around four college friends in their thirties. Holly portrayed the character of Jane who left her career to be a stay-at-home mom of two young boys. The cast included Brooke Burns and Rochelle Aytes as well. The pilot of “Mistresses” was in running with several other pilots at Lifetime including “Mrs. Novak” & “Drop Dead Diva”. If picked up the pilot would’ve become a series as a companion piece to the show “Army Wives” but unfortunately the network decided to pick up “Drop Dead Diva” instead.
