The X Files is definitely the best SCI-FI show ever made – unique storyline/, great visual effects, perfect acting, deep atmosphere. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson did a brilliant job.
I miss this wonderful show. They should make more and more X Files films in the future

Totally! Not sure why they didn’t have her start filming w/ DD. Also, I remember Gillian saying she was quite jet lagged–having just flown from across the world from India to England then Vancouver! I loved her in this film, her acting was amazing, as always

Thanks, I saw another interview where she talks about how hard shooting that first scene was after posting this. It makes sense, now. It’s strange that they’d begin shooting such a difficult scene!

Gillian is referring to the very first scene she filmed for IWTB–its the scene when scully goes to confront Father Joe at his apartment and he then collapses and his taken to the hospital..GA said she found that first scene back as scully difficult-trying to find the character’s voice again.

What scene is she talking about in the beginning? There’s a lot that doesn’t really quite make sense in the movie, but Gillian’s amazing all around.
