  • okay everyone who is saying she is american and everyone saying she is albanian r both right. she is american, born in america and of albanian decent. i dont think her origins r worth fighting about

  • That would be a very lame thing for a person to say lol :P … yes i agree.

  • She is an American, born and bred, with Albanian, English and Danish ancestry.

My original objection was to some Albanian kid who used Eliza as a way to glorify their own nationality.

e.g. “Oh look at me! I am Albanian like Eliza! I am cool by association!”… lame and “pethetic”, as that person pointed out. lol

  • I don’t take offence or care that you say she’s American, she is… if you would refer to my first comment i think this fighting is dumb… she is ethnicly albanian and danish and she is an american citizen that is all… i dont understand why you like to argue so much

    Comment by frackmeT — July 24, 2010 @ 12:01 pm

  • Why do you take such offense with my saying that Eliza is not Albanian?

    Comment by tempac91 — July 24, 2010 @ 12:15 pm

  • I don’t care what you are.

The fact is that Eliza is American. Any Albanian (or Albanian-descendant) wanting to inflate their nationalistic ego can go elsewhere.

  • why does tempac91 seem to argue with everyone who’s saying the exact same thing… so dumb… love eliza <3

    Comment by frackmeT — July 24, 2010 @ 1:23 pm

  • why don’t you take it up with her, because she seems to think she is.

    Comment by frackmeT — July 24, 2010 @ 1:44 pm

  • @frackmeT

What do genes have to do with ethnicity?!? lol

Anyway, she is American, born and bred. She is NOT Albanian, NOT Danish, NOT German, NOT Martian.

    Comment by tempac91 — July 24, 2010 @ 2:07 pm

  • I am not Albanian, I am Australian and i do not need to portray her as anything- she is Albanian, she is American, she calls herself that and i dont understand why you have to argue about her genetics… its ridiculous… she is a great actress and that’s all that matters
